With 26 years of experience, Rebecca McNulty Shaffer has experience working in nationally accredited child care centers. She has served as a Special Education Teacher in a public school inclusionary program, and with a global non-profit organization where she provided support to at risk children and families. Rebecca joined Minnieland in 2005 where she now serves as an Educational Specialist for the Richmond, Hanover and Spotsylvania Minnieland centers. She provides training, consultation and support to centers, and serves as the program leader for the Computer Specialists. Rebecca meets with her team of specialists on a regular basis to keep them apprised of new developments in the integration of technology into the Early Childhood classroom. Rebecca graduated from Emory & Henry College with a bachelor’s degree in Early Childhood Education with a focus on Special Education. She presents and attends conferences at the local, state and national level. Rebecca also serves the state of Virginia as Star Quality Mentor and Trainer.
