Lilly Allen joined the Minnieland team as a Corporate Trainer in December 2007. She has been an administrator in the early childhood education field for over 12 years. She’s worked in classroom settings that include every
age group including special needs children. She attained her first directors’ position in 1998. In 2000 she was assigned a director’s position at Wright State University, Dayton Ohio and subsequently managed the centers at two charter schools in the area. In addition to her Administrative duties,
Ms. Allen taught professional development classes to teachers and home daycare providers for over 8 years at the college level. Ms Allen holds a Child Development Associate Credential, an AAS in Food Service Management, a BS in Human Resources Management and a Masters degree in Early Childhood Education in which she was honored Summa Cum Laude. Her specialty is training early childhood educators on a wide array of effective techniques that provide positive outcomes within the classroom
for children of all ages. Lily trains and consults in the western Fairfax, Loudoun, and western Prince William County Minnieland centers. She also travels to Harrisonburg to provide training and support at the Minnieland location close to James Madison University.
