THE RESULTS ARE IN...
During the 2007-2008 school year, children enrolled in Minnieland’s Junior Kindergarten program scored very well on their High/Scope Child Observation assessments. This assessment focuses on the broad cognitive, social-emotional, and physical abilities that are nurtured in developmentally appropriate educational programs. On average, when children initially enter the program, they are developmentally in Level 1, 2, or 3. By the second period, most children are in Level 3 or Level 4. At the completion of the program, most children are at a Level 4 or Level 5. Typically, Level 4 is considered Kindergarten readiness. From our results during the 2007-2008 school year, 96% of our students were “ready for Kindergarten”.
